John Liddle

John Edward Liddle pursues a colorful career as trumpet soloist, teacher, clinician and conductor with many bands and orchestras, bringing to the conductor's podium a wealth of experience and a high standard of musicianship. A dynamic and versatile performer, Mr. Liddle recently conducted the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra for "Absolutely Sinatra," the Sinatra Tribute show starring Rick Sonata. John also performs as trumpet soloist with the celebrated Kings of Swing band, and has performed with such notables as Red Skelton and Burton Cummings, as well as the North York Symphony and the Etobicoke Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his work with the North York Concert Band, John conducts the Etobicoke Community Concert Band and the Encore Symphonic Concert Band. His passionate senses of community, combined with his professionalism, have led the North York Concert Band to outstanding achievement.
